Pavlina Veljanova – Kocani
JOUDG “Pavlina Veljanova” is a public kindergarden institution, situated in the town Kocani, in the east part of R.North Macedonia. The institution has 5 diferent object (6th is in preparation for bilding). The first object “Bambi” has one nuresery group and four groups of preeschool children. The second object “Zdvezdicki-stars” it has two groups of children 9-24 months (nursery goups) and 6 groups of preschool childrens. The third object “Sonchogledi-Sunflowers” has two nuresry groups and 6 preschool groups.The fourth object “Cvetovi-Flowers” has two nursery group and 5 preschool groups. The fifth object “Kokichinja-” has onely two preschool groups. The institution also has daycare ceter in small vilage place next to our town. In near future the kindergarden will have another, new, modern facility, built according to European standards, and should cater for more than 100 children.
In our kindergarten, we take care of children with developmental difficulties who do not reach the standards provided for their age regarding motor development, socio-emotional, communication and cognitive development.
At this moment the kindergarden is attended by approximately 700 children with various nationalities Macedonian, Roma, Wallachian, Turkish and it has nearly 100 emloyees with various nationalities Macedonian, Roma, Wallachian . The kindergarden has it’s own team of psychologist, pedagogist and speech therapist .
Our kindergardentrough the years has gained great experience from various projects approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, like the following, “City through children’s eyes”, Project “Bon Ton”,”From child to child” is a humanitarian action project, Project “Recycling with Imagination”, “Family and Family Values”, “My hygiene – my habit”, “We love sport games , we love to play happy games”,“Fellowship MELA – Introducing Respect for Diversity and Multiculturalism in Early Childhood Development” project by UNICEF implemented in the kindergarden educational work.
